Despite progress in recent years, women still encounter significant challenges in their career development in the tech and marketing industries. Unfortunately, gender bias and discrimination are just a couple of the hurdles female professionals deal with on a regular basis.

To encourage more women to enter these highly competitive fields, we think it’s important to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of those who have paved the way. By doing so, we can spark inspiration and motivation for future generations, leading to a more diverse and inclusive industry overall.

Step into our world of Rising Stars. This is where we pay homage to the phenomenal accomplishments of women in the tech and marketing industries worldwide. By highlighting their successful careers, we hope to provide invaluable career tips for other women equally looking to fortify a future in tech.

Our mission is to foster a diverse and inclusive environment that inspires women to explore boundless opportunities and especially embark on fulfilling and successful careers in these fields.

Come join us on this empowering journey towards building a brighter, more equal future.

The Goal

Career Development for Women Happens by Supporting and Aspiring Them to Rise to the Top in Technology and Marketing

At our core, we aim to inspire and support women who aspire to rise to the top in technology and marketing. We believe empowering these ambitious women starts by chiefly recognising and celebrating their incredible accomplishments.

Through our Rising Stars campaign, we offer a dynamic platform that enables these talented women to share their experiences, insights, and career advice for women. It happens while simultaneously encouraging diversity and inclusivity in the often male-dominated tech and marketing fields.

We firmly believe in creating a level playing field for women. Therefore, they will be able to take their rightful place as leaders in their chosen industries. By equipping women with the skills, resources, and encouragement they need to succeed, we’re confident that more women will feel encouraged to break into the world of tech and marketing and ultimately rise to the top.

To put it simply, our aim is to:

  • Amplify the voices of accomplished women in these industries and, therefore, showcase their wisdom and knowledge.
  • Promote diversity and inclusivity to create a fair playing field for all talented women equally.
  • Inspire and motivate more women to pursue careers in technology and marketing, ultimately leading to a more gender-balanced leadership in these fields.

Together, let’s break barriers and pave the way for a more equitable future for career development for women in technology and marketing altogether.

How the Rising Star Campaign Works in Career Development for Women

Every month, we shine a spotlight on ten remarkable women who are chiefly making waves in the technology and marketing industries.

Finding our Rising Stars involves a rigorous process. It starts with taking nominations from anyone who wants to celebrate a woman’s successes in these fields.

From there, our expert team thoroughly reviews and selects the top 30 finalists. We then dive deep into each of the outstanding submissions to select the final ten winners. They have been chosen for their incredible accomplishments, impact, and potential.

These trailblazing women get their moment in the spotlight when we announce them on our website and social media platforms. Doing so allows them to share their stories and career tips with a wider audience.

Our process looks like this:

  • Nominations: We will take nominations from anyone who desires to honour a woman’s accomplishments in the technology and marketing fields.
  • Review: Our team will review all the nominations and choose 30 finalists. Our team will then analyse the finalists’ submissions and pick ten winners based on their achievements, impact, and potential.
  • Final decision: Winners will be announced on our website and social media platforms, giving them a platform to share their experiences and views correspondingly.
