An executive assistant must have fantastic organisational skills. Having responsibility for organising the schedules (or indeed lives) of some very senior people is an extremely important task. In order to do this, sound logistical arrangements must be in place. Also, your assistant must be competent in taking responsibility for deciding which meetings and appointments are of the most strategic importance and will be the best use of your time. In today’s fast-paced working environment, an assistant is essential to the smooth running of any organisation.
